Former Senator Mona Das and founder of Bad Ass Women PAC is a true bad ass woman!

Mona was born to Indian parents who immigrated to America with only $6 in their pockets, yet full of hope about building a better life for their family. She came to the United States when she was eight months old and spent her childhood moving around due to her father’s job, living in eight states and three countries.

Mona was elected to the Washington State Senate in 2018, representing the 47th Legislative District. During her tenure, she advocated for climate action, equity and inclusion, and community empowerment.

She is known for her commitment to grassroots activism and community service. Her work often focuses on amplifying the voices of those who are typically underrepresented in the political process.
